If you want to create a new robot, select New Automatron from the list. They don’t need to be standing in the workbench itself in order to be modified.Īccess the Robot Workbench computer terminal, and select the name of the bot you’d like to modify. To modify a robot, make sure they are assigned as your Companion, then bring them to the Robot Workbench. Ada will volunteer to be the first test subject to help get you acquainted with the Robot Workbench. Once you have placed the Robot Workbench somewhere within your settlement, it can now be used to modify existing robots, or create a new one from scratch. Building this special workbench requires several different resources: Gears (6), Oil (4), Screws (4), Plastic (4), Aluminum (12), Fiberglass (6), Circuitry (3), and Nuclear Material (4).
Open the Special tab, and scroll over to select the Robot Workbench. Fast travel to a settlement, and access the Workshop interface. Complete this quest and continue on to the next quest, called A New Threat.ĭuring A New Threat, you will be instructed to build a Robot Workbench in one of your settlements.
